How do automated payment reminders work?
Once an invoice passes its due date and isn't marked as paid, GES sends your reminder emails on the schedule you've set. As soon as the invoice is paid, the reminders stop automatically.
Can I change the wording and tone of the reminders?
Yes. You write the reminders in your own words and choose how friendly or firm each one is. Insert customer names, invoice numbers, amounts and dates with merge tags so every message is personalised but still sent automatically.
Will reminders stop once a customer pays?
Always. The moment an invoice is marked as paid, GES cancels any remaining reminders for that invoice — so no one is ever chased for money they've already sent.
Do my customers need the app to pay?
No. Customers receive a normal email with your invoice and preferred payment method. If your GES account is integrated with Crezco, this includes a secure pay-online link and can settle the invoice with low-fee digital payments — no app or login required.
