How do automated reminders work for heating businesses?

Whenever you issue paperwork to a customer, (this could be a gas certificate, invoice, or quote) our software records this date. Depending on what you sent, a reminder will be sent out after a specified amount of time. These reminders can be either emails or SMS. For an invoice, a reminder might be sent after 2 weeks, while a service reminder is normally 11 months later.

Can I change what my reminders say?

Absolutely! All of our reminders are customisable. You can write anything you like while also making use of our drag-and-drop shortcut tags like :firstname and :propertyaddress which will automatically fill with the customer’s unique information.

What kind of automated reminders are useful for a heating business?

We’ve devised three different types of reminders useful for heating businesses. Quote and invoice reminders simply follow up on the paperwork you send to customers, helping you get paid faster and win more jobs. However, our most profitable feature is our service reminders. These help you capture more repeat business from the yearly servicing you do for many customers.

Can I set which customers receive reminders?

Yes. If a customer has requested to not receive reminders, you can simply turn off automated reminders from that customer’s profile.

Is there any risk storing only digital copies of my records?
